Many have been enjoying this great show from Grammy winner Stephen Marley and Crew for months now. It was broadcast on a few networks-satellite channels some complete and some in different qualities. I recently came across this opening bonus track of Punky Reggae Party that Stephen likes to open the show with. Congratulations to Stephen Marley for winning this years 2011 Reggae Grammy for this CD “Revelation Pt1: The Root of Life”. He went up against his brother Ziggy Marley’s CD “Wild and Free”, Shaggy’s “Summer Kingston”, Israel Vibration’s “Reggae Nights” and Monty Alexanders “Harlem-Kingston Express Live”. As an exclusive special to celebrate the great achievement I share with you a live mix of tracks from Revelation Pt 1: The Root Of Life. These tracks are taken from a few different shows on Stephens 2011 tour supporting the CD. In my opinion, Revelation Pt 1: The Root Of Life is one of the best reggae releases in the last 10 years. Track after track of wicked songs and murderous riddims. All but False Friends and Working Days which I have not heard live are included here and I have also included a complete video broadcast from Stephens Revelation Pt 1: The Root Of Life tour from Aug. 20th 2011 Lowlands Festival,the Netherlands.
